For my final semester at Texas Tech University, I took public relations campaigns. Campaigns is a service-learning course where senior PR majors team up in agency-like groups and complete a campaign challenge for a local non-profit. Our client was Children’s Miracle Network at UMC Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. Our task was to reverse a trend in declining non-profit revenue from the local Radiothon event.

I served as account manager for my team, which serves as the client liaison and team leader. On our team consisted of myself, our creative director Emma Wilkins, our copywriting director Whitney Nichols, and our media director Curry Wilson.

The final campaign we designed was chosen as “Best Campaign Plan” by our client, ahead of four other teams. We were recognized for mist directly meeting the clients needs and tackling the challenge. Please view our campaign plan, below.
